Smiths site service llc Hired to clear wooded land. Took money without work. Collins New York

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Hired to clear 3 wooded acres of land. Showed up to start work for a couple of days. Stated he needed to rent extra equipment. Disappeared after collecting $10000. Family ran into owner after several weeks of no return phone calls. Stated he had sub contracted work without telling us. Said he would be back to finish work. Never showed or called. It's been 7 months no contact. Attempts to contact has been unsuccessful. Filed BBB complaint as well as Erie county consumer protection board.
Have been contacted by others on social media with the same situation. Takes payment without work being completed.

The BBB is a con-game in itself. Despite the BBB referring to themselves as "the bureau", the BBB and all their PHONEY BS is NOT part of ANY government entity or law enforcement body. The BBB has ZERO POWER to force any business to do anything nor any power to enforce ANY laws. The ONLY purpose of the PHONEY BALONEY BBB is to SELL their FAKE ratings to ANY business which wants to BUY them.
