TekRefurbs.com sells poor quality refurbed computer equipment and have terrible customer service.  I bought a high end developer level computer from them at a significant price and it failed inside of a year.  Specifically, the motherboard failed outside of the 30 day warranty period and the only relief they offered was to give me $50 toward a new machine, which doesn't even cover shipping.  The cornerstone of their business model is to reuse computer equipment to keep it out of landfills, however, this clearly isn't important to them given their response to me.  They are happy for me to simply throw the computer away at full loss to me.

That’s $50 More…

AUTHOR: Rick - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, September 15, 2023

That’s $50 more than they had to offer you! Once the warranty ends, you are on your own. Who knows what you might have done to it in 30 days. If you wanted a computer with a longer warranty, you could have bought one. You took a gamble by buying a cheaper option, and it didn’t pay off.
