It's two days after one of the worst blizzards Chicago has ever seen. Two feet of snow. My snow-blower breaks a third of the way through clearing my driveway. I call 3D Snow Removal in Des Plaines, IL. The guy who answered the phone told me they were currently charging $300 to clear driveways. If that's not illegal price gouging, or at the very least unethical price gouging, I don't know what is. Way to develop new clients, guys!

High prices doesn't equal price gouging

AUTHOR: Sam - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 17, 2011

As Jacob has said, all because prices are high, doesn't mean they are being malicious with their prices. All because you think $300.00 is expensive to clean your driveway of  20" snow doesn't justify bad mouthing a company on the internet.

Next time, just call someone else...

A business can choose to charge whatever amount they want. If you don't like their price, you are free to go with someone else.

If you didn't go with someone else, then I guess you decided the amount they're charging was worth it for the service they provide.
