I agree with Allen's statement. Acellus has been a lifesaver for me. The videos present teaching in the best possible light. Teachers are doing their jobs in peace without distraction, and that is what my child is learning from. I personally taught her classes for the first 5 years and it was much less smooth. I love how they are organized, I can save the lesson manuals, the help videos are phenomenal, the written assignments are scored and suggestions are made for improvement, they are regionally accredited, they offer a high school diploma, etc. I test my daughter every year and she is grades above her actual grade level. Some of the videos are not new, but I'm not concerned as long as the information is still relevant. I still oversee her classes and encourage note-taking and writing problems on paper. It's been working well for us. We are happier now than when I taught the classes (though I still teach two extra ones). I love it.

Acellus provides the best learning experience for my student

Our son is ADHD, so sitting in a boring classroom studying a boring subject presented by a burnt out teacher doesn't work for us.
Acellus provides a learning experience that is much better than the public school option for several reasons.
1 - You can study during the part of the day that you are most proficient. Some kids don't perform their best at the beginning of the day, after lunch, or at the end of the day. Acellus allows you to schedule the classes in the order that suits you best.
2 - Acellus is only one of several online learning organizations, the teachers are selected from the small community of online presenters: therefore, they are the best available at delivering the given subject matter via the audio - visual presentation method.
3 - Acellus teachers have personalities that aren't affected by student’s negativity. The facility are interested in bringing the course information to the students and they are doing it the mindset that the students actually want to learn what they are presenting. Maybe all teachers have that desire when they begin teaching, but after years of being battered by the negative comments and struggles of keeping the "Pain the A _ _ " student in line during the in class atmosphere the teachers are a little resentful of their past experiences and don't bring the excitement of the subject to the classroom. The Acellus teachers are not brining the material to the students with that baggage.
4 - While the Acellus faculty aren't interacting with students they are focusing more energy and commitment to enhancing the presentation and knowledge transfer of the subject. The teachers are interacting with themselves and spending more time discussing how to deliver ideas than talking about how to deal with a certain student.
5 - The Acellus organization is reinvesting in presentation technology and presenters are perpetual learners, continually adjusting to new presentation capabilities.
