Appraiser Angela Smith is white and racially biased, she works together with her husband Craig Smith, and both of them were suspended several years ago by the state of Ohio, Department of commerce, and they are currently under investigation again by the state of Ohio.

My father in law had a house for sale and under contract, for $120,000, we are a colored home in a colored community.  The house was previously appraised at $110,000 and we did additional $10,000 improvements for the buyer. 

We provided Angela and Craig Smith a copy of that appraisal report, together with 145 pages PDF file, with house info, and improvements info, etc.. Still Angela and Craig Smith obliterated the deal by devaluing the house by 25% to $90,000, and consequently the buyer terminated the deal, after we already made $10,000 improvements to follow that buyer's request on the purchase contract.

Angela and Craig Smith refused to use the comparables used in previous appraisal report, because that comparable was in zip code 45414 which is 80% white population, and our zip code is 45405 is 80% colored population, even though the comparable is less than a mile away, and despite the fact that comparable was missing a lot of features that our home offer.

For example that home did not have a central air system, just old boiler.. That comparable had ANCIENT bathroom and kitchen, and no walk up attic, Etc.. and sold for $135,000. That's a racially biased red-lining which is illegal; in addition, Angela and Craig Smith used comparables from the city of Dayton, even though our home located in a different city of Harrison township.

Still they used it just because it is the same zip code 45405 with the same 80% colored population... which is again racially biased; This issue of racially biased appraisals dominates the headlines, and there is federal task force by the name PAVE to address that issue, which was announced in March-2022 by the white house.. 96.5% of all appraisers are white.

While the general population is about 50% colored, these white appraisers will never live in our colored neighborhood, they despise our neighborhood, and their racially biased devaluation is inevitable, and over the years they diminish the pools of comparables in our colored community.

Each time they devalue a house by 25% like they did in our home, they affected all surrounding houses within one mile radius by the same amount, and our colored community consist of about 12,000 housing units, and if you multiply $30,000 devaluation by 12,000 houses.

That comes to a total damage of $350,000,000, which was inflicted by Angela Smith and Craig Smith on our colored community due to racial bias.
