When I rang them again as I had received another confirmation from McAfee that my annual subscription due in October had been renewed I was told that they would refund the amount I paid $146 and take off the annual renewals.

When no refund had been made I rang another McAfee support line that I have used before and was told that they do not have life time support subscriptions. So it is obvious that this unfortunate transaction of mine was done as a result of a very clever organisation.

I even have a customer ID and a technician's name but of course when I ring I can speak to someone but get a different person who is of no help at all.
