IMAGEWORK INC Faxed an Invoice for $910.91 for 1 single Ricoh cartridge that we did not order. Mission Hills California

Faxed us an invoice that looked very convinicing and even had our correct business name, that no one ever gets right, and our business office mangers name in the attn to spot. They also included a W-9 to make it look even more real.  My front office did a requisition to pay it and sent it to our business office to cut a check. I happened to notice the requisition as we were looking for another one unrealted and statrted asking questions of the staff.  I called over to the business office and told them to stop processing the requisition and they were able to stop it.  We called Imageworxs and they reported they could not locate any "invoice" under the number on ours, and that it must be a mistake.  Theyasked for a fax number and if we had received the printer cartridge which we had not at that time.  The next day a single, just 1 printer cartridge came in a box via UPS.  A Bill Hansen from Imageworx  faxed us a prepaid UPS label and fax cover in handwriting stating that all we had to do was put it on the box and drop it off for UPS.  $900 for single black ink cartridge for a Ricoh copier that probably only cost $40-50.
