C & R Business Inc Lenn Brown or www.gpa.net or Affinity VOIP Telecom is a fraudlent person. Forter City California

First of all let me agree with the rebuttal of the owner of Affinity VOIP. From my research that is not one of Lenn Brown's many companies. I would like to know more about your problems with Lenn Brown for the purpose of strength in numbers! Now I am simply pasting my rebuttal that I have posted to three other Ripoff reports I have found against companies owned by Lenn Brown. I have Secretary of State documents that I can not upload because Ripoff report does not support the format I have them saved as. Looks to me like you are his biggest victim! I would love for you to contact me. So here is my copy/paste: 

I too have had a bad experience with Lenn Brown and his company GPA (Global Prepaid Alliance). You say in your report he is or was in jail. I would like to know if this was true? He is not in jail now. In fact he is in Newnan GA doing business out of his home with many business names. He has two prepaid refill websites for consumers, www.prepaidonline.com and www.prepaidrefill.com. He still has www.GPA.net also. 

I was a GPA customer and I did get my $1,000 deposit back, well almost, I got $999 in pins. I had an issues with a duplicate pin and they refused to refund the pin. It was then that I noticed he had been taking "extra" money out of my account. I had 3 ACH debits return and he tacked on the $35 NSF charge even though his contract terms said $25 the day I started business. On the day I closed my account the terms still stated $25, but that is not the big deal. He was taking additional "GPA return fees" and his manager told me I need to get my facts straight that those were charges from my bank.

The return fees ranged from $42 to $75 and only totaled $302 but I just got to wondering, How many people has he done this to? He is still denying that he took the money, oh let me correct myself, his account manager, David Crosby now says a 3rd party billing person took the money. Well the 3rd party biller is www.KNBonline.com , another company owned by Lenn Brown. So either way Lenn Brown is the one who was taking the extra money. My little $302 isn't that much but if he is doing this to others then it is not wonder he can afford a $300,000 home on the lake, trips to Europe and Art School for his daughter.

I had a BBB case against him and was advised that they are not members of the BBB and have no obligation to comply with any suggested resolution of the BBB. The case was closed as "unresolved" and he continues to Rebuttal about my return ach payment. 3 Payments bounced, 1 of those payment twice, but my account was in good standing when I ask to close my account. Taking an extra $50 to $75 from someone who is struggling doesn't help matters any.

I have been doing business with a company called ePay, formerly Payspot since 2002. Their pin terminal (like a credit card machine) works off the phone line. I liked the idea of being able to go back and see the pins pulled online with GPA and not tying up the phone lines. With GPA my credit limit was 3 times my deposit. With ePay I have no deposit but around the first of the month we would max out our credit limited and it may take a couple of hours to get that increased so we have Rhino as a back up. Well Rhino is so great they are no longer our back up, but our main prepaid wholesale vendor. They even create your own custom website where your customers can refill 27/7! You can also sign your customers up for auto pay.

Don't let your bad experience shy you away from the prepaid business. I have been in the prepaid business since 2000. I'm not rich like Lenn Brown but maybe that is because I am too honest and I do more giving than I do taking. Like letting people work when I really can't afford to pay them. I live in a small town and I have 75% of the towns prepaid business, because people know we are honest and will give you the shirt off our back if you needed it. BEWARE, Lenn Brown might take that shirt off your back! He is also in charge of fund raising for the Coweta County Youth Recreation, SMH! I hope he is not skimming off the top of that money too.

I may never get my money back from Lenn Brown but I will not give up on spreading the word and searching for other victims. I will get the satisfaction out of proving him to be a dishonest crook. Which yes that is what I think he his. The more searching I do for him on the internet the more people I find that agree!
