Californa Labor Compliance Phishing scam to small business owners of "Final Notice" of compliance Los Angeles, California

It seems that "Ca. Labor Compliance" did their mailings all last week.  I too received this letter and it is very official-looking as well. It asks for $275 but again, no number, website etc. It does have buried under a ton of small print above the mail-in stub a message that it is a solicitation.  My company is legitimate and provides HR and compliance software to help businesses but this was hard to spot for me so everyone else be careful! From what I can guess, they're moving around the laws by telling you what you need to be compliant and will send you posters. (You must have clearly marked signs if you have employees but they're about $12-not $275)  In essence, be careful-if you pay this, they may deliver a poster to you-and an expensive one.
