Cavalry PortfolioCavalry Portfolio, National Action Financial Services They sent me a collection notice for 8947.59 from an account more than 5 yrs old. And still shows on my credit report as a 0 balance. obviously it is a bogus attempt to rip me off. Williamsville New York

I received a collection notice from National Action Financial Services on behalf of Cavalry Portfolio for 8947.59. This account is well beyond 5 years old and is still in my credit report as an open account at a 0 balance. Or atleast it was last time i checked. never the less it is obviously an attempt to rip me off. Then i saw the online article you have about Cavalry Portfolio and noticed they were the ones listed on the notice. The account was previously handled by Americredit. If you can please help out I would be greatful.
