Chase Manhatten Bank They dont follow through the business that doesnt give a dam Tampa Florida
*UPDATE Employee: This is a financial institution, not a charity
I had my car repossessed and they sent me a letter telling me the final amount my husband and I had to pay. It then stated in the letter that we could make payments. When I contacted the woman, she told me if I cant put anything down right now, then they were sending it to further collection.
They could careless about any problems you might have. I just had a baby and the woman could careless. They lie so bad!! They never helped us out in anyway. I would definetly not choose them for financing!

#1 UPDATE Employee
This is a financial institution, not a charity

There was nothing wrong with the treatment this person received-they were given a chance to get on a payment plan to retain their financed property, but a payment plan involves PAYMENTS, not just promises to make payments.
Having a baby is no more reason to skip out on your legal obligation to pay than Christmas, you know it's coming and you need to plan for it. A legal contract to make timely payments was signed and the collections department has tried to work with this person.
If payments can no longer be made due to financial hardship, and you can't offer any sort of payment, then selling the vehicle becomes your only option. This is not a case of bad customer service, it is a case of prudent business practices. And unfortunately, this person will be contacted after the vehicle is auctioned off for the remaining balance on the loan, which is stil their legal responsibility.
