Bought pickup form Cleburne Motorsports, flew down paid with cashiers check. Twenty days later I haven't gotten a title. I left messages, and called all three numbers and no one will answer my calls, so i filled a complaint with ebay. They responded for awhile, now nothing. I am 36 days past the sale date. I filled a complaint with DOT texas used car licensing and now I am waiting. Do not do business with these people.

I also delt with this dealership and had more than one problem with their slow service. I feel the pain of clint. I bought a car almost a year ago now and paid for an extended warranty. the dealership kept this money and never paid for my warranty. Now they wont answer my calls or emails, but hiring a lawyer is about solve that problem... and it wont just be the warranty i will be comming after. Clint, just keep all documentation and it will work out for you in court. They also fail to pay off trade in's for several months after the sale. It took them from dec 7th when I bought the car until 25 febuary to make the payoff. Its all documented through my finance company so they have no leg to stand on. Cleburne you are the worst dealership I have ever heard of. I hope I can prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did.

Hello. Buyer Clint who purchased a vehicle from us in late July has filed a complaint with ripoffreport.com. In this report he states he has not yet received his title. The state of Texas has guidelines we as a Bonded & Licensed Texas Automobile retailer must follow. On Texas customers, we have 21 Buisiness days from the time of purchase to postmark the registration and ownership transfer papers. On out of states buyers as buyer Clint Ring is, there is no true timeframe given to us by the state to provide the Ownership Title. The reason for this is because out of state buyers may require modifications of documents to suit other states laws & requirements that can take longer than a 21 or 30 day period. We make every effort to have the title to the customer in the same 21 business day timeframe.

Every state ia different, and every state has it's own set of guidelines. Buyer Clint resides in Oklahoma. Oklahoma requires every signed document to be notarized & stamped by a Public Notary. We already had this knowledge, and proceeded to have these papers modified to meet Oklahoma's laws. Buyer Clint refused to listen to us and demanded we send him the title imediately. We stopped the documents from being modified, had them sent back to us, then forwarded them to Buyer Clint as he so demanded. When he or his bank tried to register the vehicle, of course it was denied due to the docs that were not correctly notarized. The title had to be returned to us so that we could have these documents notarized. This process takes a good deal of time. We believe Buyer Clint realized at this point we were not trying to "Rip him off", and no longer made demands. He filed this Ripoff Report at about the time we sent the title to him the first time. Buyer Clint is a very impatient individual who can be very cruel when angry. He is a customer we regret doing business with. We wish he had never contacted us in the first place. We performed our 100% best in his case. We have now completed the deal with him, and fulfilled our required, and unrequired duties 100%. This is our side of the story. Thank you for reading.
