CLK Builders Chad Krezmien Performed shoddy construction costing me 29K and acted inappropriately around my 7 year old son! Fort Lauderdale Florida

Chad worked on my kitchen remodel for close to two years and was too incompetent to complete it correctly costing me 29K. I had to hire a new contractor to fix his mess and choke on my cost with Chad.  The contractor could not believe his eyes and showed me inferior materials used in the kitchen along with old electrical outlets and rusty water valves that should have been replaced. 

Kitchen doors and drawers would not open properly, electrical outlets were installed used and not working, etc.. Nothing was able to operate correctly. He kept failing inspections on a routine basis. He put the wrong sink in and damaged my new granite counter top in the process, scratched my new appliances, gouged my floor trying to put my new stove in.  Whatever could have went wrong did with Chad. 

He was constantly trying to find change orders and fighting with me over everything.  Extremely unprofessional and immature.  Always giggling and using vulgar profanity around me and my family. When ever I corrected him about it, he would become angry and use more profanity and then laugh.  

It was difficult to talk to him because Chad made it clear not to call him before noon because he needs his sleep.  This man sleeps until noon and refuses to answer his phone in the morning.  A total waste of time and money with this so called company CLK.  I have no idea how he is still in business being so irresponsible.  Long story short he used inferior materials, damaged property, and delayed the project constantly for no reason other than to be malicious. 

Everything this man touched turned to crap.  He kept nit picking over the contract constantly telling me "there is no time frame in the contract so your screwed and your going to wait for a very long time lady".  Unfortunetely he was correct and Chad made me wait forever and cost me approx. 29K in shoddy work he was not even capable of correcting.   I had spoken with an attorney who suggested it may be best to cut my losses and attempt to recoup them at another time so I did.

I noticed in other reviews were Chad engaged in disgusting behavior and I can confirm it's true based on my experience with him.  Chad had one week left before he was to leave my home permanently.  On this particular day Chad was in my home gathering his things.  He had told me he needed to use the bathroom and disappeared for a half hour.  I asked if he was ok and he kept saying yes but did not come out of the bathroom. 

When I pushed open the door after about 30 minutes I saw Chad and my son laying on the floor with my son straddling him!!  I said what the heck are you doing Chad?  His only reply is that "We are playing the Seesaw Game together".  He then gets up and giggles and casually exits my home telling my son it was great playing with him.  I honestly think this man has psychological problems, is totally incompentant and is not fit to be around children never mind run a business.

I strongly recommend time frames stipulated in any contract and background checks performed on any person working in your home.  Please read reviews and check with the BBB before hiring anyone!!
