CoConsumer's Lottery Received a check in the mail for $4,900 but did not look believable. Niagra Falls Ontario

Received letter in the mail that did not look professional saying that I won money from a lottery that I had never signed up for, it was for a consumers lottery. I had to cash the check in a few days, and it said that this was a final notification, and they've sent me checks before which is not the case.
Also I had to call a number that is in Canada. The check looks very believable, but after typing in Consumer Lottery into google, I saw that this is a scam and the checks are counterfeit.
