My son was scheduled for day surgery here to repair a fractured collar bone. They gave me an estimate upon entering the hospital of $6,000. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $57,000 plus. I have asked for a detailed bill twice and have yet to receive one. You think they must be hiding something? This is an outrageous amount for this simple procedure which took one-half day. And they refuse to give me any answers. My insurance company has refused to pay, and no wonder.
