Don J Harris DVM VCA South Dade Animal Hospital It is my opinion that murdered my beloved scarlet macaw whom I had for 36 years! South Miami
*Author of original report: Dr. Harris performed a necropsy on my beloved macaw and she had a bad heart. Her demise was not his fault.
As far as I am concerned, he killed my beloved scarlet macaw and now he won't even have the decency to respond to my messages. I would avoid Dr. Don Harris at all costs. He is keeping my money and refuses to refund it, so basically I paid him $300 to murder my beloved pet. His bedside manner is horrible and he is insensitive and as cold as ice. A rotten to the core sorry excuse for a veterinarian. Too bad I cannot leave 0-stars or else I would!

Dr. Harris performed a necropsy on my beloved macaw and she had a bad heart. Her demise was not his fault.
AUTHOR: Alvarez - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Monday, May 11, 2020
I had a nervous breakdown as my beloved pet scarlet macaw of thirty-six (36) years passed away on Wednesday, May 6th, 2020, the day after I brought her to him because she stopped eating. Due to my grief, I vented and blamed him when it wasn't his fault that she passed, as she was close to forty (40) years-old which is getting up there for macaws.
She lived a good life and Dr. Harris gave her every fighting chance that she could possibly have to recover, but her heart condition as revealed by his performing of the necropsy (autopsy for animals) was simply unpredictable. I'm sorry for the comments that I made about you Dr. Harris and I realize now that you are indeed a wonderful human being and a fantastic avian specialist, and that if it were up to you, she would have lived as long as possible.
