Doug Deals had a price on a gas regulator a couple dollars cheaper than everyone else.  They sent me broken useless junk.  They said that the photo showed it accurately, and refuse to give me a refund unless I pay for the return and pay a 15% restocking fee.

This is attempted theft.  Do not deal with these scumbags!

They are scammers.

AUTHOR: John - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 14, 2012

They say I refused to work with them.  There was nothing to work with.  They advertised a Nitrogen regulator.  It was a few dollars cheaper than new ones when I found it searching Google shopping.  It was broken and incomplete to boot.  I said they should issue a call tag and take it back.  They want me to pay for the return shipping and a 15% restocking fee!  I suppose they want to scam somebody else with the same garbage.  Why should I pay to send back trash?  Why should I pay a restocking fee for something that should be thrown away?  These people have no sense of integrity or right and wrong.  Do yourself a favor and stay away.  Doug Deals is a scam outfit!

Customer was not willing to work with us or accept our offer

AUTHOR: Customer Service Manager - (USA)

We attempted to come to a resolution with this customer, and multiple times offer a refund minus a 15% restocking fee upon return of the item. If there is any defect or damage to a product that is not disclosed in our ad, we issue a full refund upon return. There was no discrepancy between our listing/photos of the product and the customers description/photos, therefore a full refund was not offered.

Our terms are listed on our website which can be seen here: http://www.dougdeals.com/t-dd_terms.aspx

This customer also disputed the charges with his credit card company, in which after they reviewed all of our submitted documents, they sided with us and the funds were not refunded back to him.

We have been selling online for over 10 years & our feedback ratings show just how highly regarded customer service is to us. We pride ourselves on making each transaction a positive one. Although our website is relatively new, our eBay store has a 99.8% proven track record. To view these ratings, please visit: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=athomemarket&ftab=AllFeedback&rt=nc&myworld=true

If you have any questions or would like to contact our company, please feel free to do so!
