I had a similar experience and that making payments on time every time for over 4 years, they claim the last payment was late and therefore they reflex a 30 date late payment on my credit report. Mind you I'll be 60 years old and have had credit since day one and this is the ONLY blemish on my report. I called and they blatantly refused to do anything about it; and stated it wasn't there fault. So now you know how they treat their customers past and present. Don't wait to be hurt by their actions, "because it's NOT their fault"

Being 60 has NOTHING to do with this. If your payment was late, then it is properly reported. However, if it was not late and you can prove it, you can dispute this with the credit bureaus which they are required to investigate. If their investigation shows you were not late, it must be removed from your credit report.
