Rick I am sorry you feel the way you do but you have no idea how the process for building a site this size works and because of that you want to pass the blame onto everyone els. Lets keep in mind that you were requesting a refund from over two years ago, that you signed up for and agreed to pay the deposit WITHOUT refund. You decided to not honor this agreement and I still refunded you $400. and this was our last email conversation. Just more proof how untruthful you really are.

After months of back and forth they sent us 400.00 out of the 1000.00 paid, they can not show us any proof of any work completed, as we never sent the information they needed to start there set up, I would think twice about sending them 1000.00 us front, we feel we where ripprd off and will always feel so, wery poor customer service

They even arued over the cost of postage

I am sorry they did nothing to keep 600.00 of our money, we did sign a release and will not goafter them for the balance but i will not rtemove the report or the betterbusiness complaint.

False Statement

AUTHOR: Framing Engine - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, October 10, 2016

Sara Stevens Purchased a Picture framing website January of 2014. With all of our projects the customer is sent a getting started email with information we will need for the site and an agreement that states we do not offer a refund on the setup fee. The Stevens were offered a show special that was much less than our usual setup fee. Once we received the payment we proceeded on our end and did the install and setup to get ready for the customers information. This is the reason for the no refund clause in our agreement because we have a lot of work we do before the client provides any of their products or content for the site. We completed the first work and then were ready for Sarah’s content and information. She failed to supply us with any information to move forward with her site.

I was contacted in August of this year over 2 years after the purchase by Rick Stevens demanding his money back. I explained I would have to look into this as I did not see it on my computer or Remember him as a customer. I then explained that if he were to look at his agreement he would see that we do not offer a refund but I would look into it and see what I could do for him. He expressed that I would give him a complete refund and if I didn’t he would drive to my location and make sure I did.

I Spoke to Rick a few days later and I explained that we had done all of the install work and prep to get ready for his information and what my cost was to get to that point so the best I would be able to do is return his $400 even though it has been over 2 years and it was his part that was not completed, not to mention that our agreement stated no refunds. This was explained to him before this report.  After a long list of threats by Mr Stevens he finally agreed to the $400. A check was sent off to Rick Stevens last month and cashed. Rick commented he would get on Ripoffreport and update his false negative comment as soon as he receievd the check and it has been 2 weeks. I am assuming he took the money and ran. I am sure he must have read the agreement and knew I did not have to give him any money back but that is not how we do business and told him I would be as fair as I could but wasnt going to pay money for him to sign up and change his mind.

Thanks
