Gardeners Choice ripoff Nationwide
*Consumer Comment: Cartoonish Drawings of So-Called Products ..this so-called business is indeed nothing more than a huge SCAM
We ordered a single plant tree tomato. It was supposed to get 8 feet tall in just 3 months and produce 60 pounds of tomatoes from one plant.
Sent them a check for $9.46 on 5 April,2004. Check cashed 21 April,2004. Never received trees and have only a fake e-mail address to contact them.

Cartoonish Drawings of So-Called Products ..this so-called business is indeed nothing more than a huge SCAM

Certainly, based on the number of complaints and after viewing the site, I would have to agree that this so-called business is indeed nothing more than a huge SCAM.
However, I don't understand WHY anyone would order from them in the first place. For instance, have you ever SEEN a "tomato tree" that would grow 8 feet tall in three months and produce 60 pounds of tomatoes? Have you ever heard of anyone else having one?
Well, guess what? You didn't even SEE a PICTURE of one on their site either! In fact, all you saw was a cartoonish illistration of the supposed "tomato tree."
Nearly ALL of their so-called products are shown as nothing more than simple cartoonish drawings! In fact, it's nothing more than simple clip-art.
If Gardner's Choice actually HAD all of the fantastic huge and fast-growing items for sale, don't you think they could at least take real PICTURES to post on their site?
Why don't they? BECAUSE THE PRODUCTS DON'T EXIST!COMMON SENSE SHOULD TELL THE PERSPECTIVE BUYER THAT THEY DON'T EXIST!
I can remember as a child, thirty years ago, the same type nonsense was advertised in the Sunday paper suppliment and in comic books. The very same cartoonish illistrations! And those fantastic plants and trees didn't exist then either!
