Several times over I received a cold call - same guy, foreign accent stating the US Grants and Treasury Department ( didn't know there was such a thing) have selected me as one of the 15,000 persons randomly slected to receive a grant for any legal use. Mine was $8,400. he had my correct name, address, zip, and employer. He proceeded to ask me for account number of a deposit account - or master card number. - I told him I would have to get that for him. He told me he would call one last time, but then he;d have to give the grant to someone else.
