The two squirrel deflectors that I purchased for my bird feeders had several options available. I opted for the copper units believing that the higher price would pay off in longer durability and retain better appearance for many years. Unfortunately after about 6 months they began to rust! Copper does not rust! When contacted, they refused to do anything about my complaint.
