Complaint Review: IAAI Auto Auction -
IAAI Auto Auction is bidding against the online bidders to inflate prices paid for items
*Consumer Comment: Simple Fix
IAAI is bidding against the online bidders thru the "high bid-onsite" by raising the bid higher than the defined bid increment. and then lowering the high bid if nobody else outbids them. If was a legitimate high bid, it would not go down.
An online bidder has to outbid the fake onsite bid in order to post their bid . IAAI in reality is forceing bidders to bid against themselfs by posting these fake bids just to raise the price and there profits.

- Actually they aren't "forcing" you to do anything. What do you when you go to a regular car lot? Do you see a price and even though it is more than you think you need to pay you still buy it it because they are "forcing" you? If not then how is this any different? If you don't like the bid..then don't offer to pay more.
If you are correct then they actually won't sell the vehicle, or the price will go down to what you want to pay. If you are wrong, then a legitimate buyer was willing to pay more than you.
