I received a letter today from Insignia, signed by Fernanod Silva and Sean Wilson, both VP's of Best Buy Canada. Apparently my TV, model # IS-LCDTV26 which I bought in the summer of 2005 goes on fire!! I paid $1500 for this TV and here's the deal: They will send me a box to ship it back to Insignia via Purolator. They will then send me a gift certificate FOR $500 redeemable at Best Buy. FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING. THIS IS A RIP OFF TO THE Nth DEGREE.
