I also sent away for the "free sample", as stated in the ad, of Acai Berry. For the "free sample" I was only to be charged $3.95 (My VIP Fit - description in bank statement 9-04-08). Today I noticed that an additional unauthorized $89.63 charge was included in my credit card.

Called the credit card holder but was informed that the charge in my account was only to hold the amount; which is supposed to be released in five days. Supposedly the bank cannot do anything at this stage, the funds need to be released to the company before filing a claim.

I've heard about this type of scams, but never thought would happened to me.
