Jeff Scott and Erica Lee Gross are claiming to lend money then they ask for an upfront fee once I sent it they then asked for more money to fund the loan.

Hi Hilary, sorry to hear your story. I did a lil research on those two names and it doesn't look good. Since I'm new on here and not completely sure exactly what I can or can't say. I will give you a litte clue where to find info on people you're about to send money to in an investment.
First, you go to: www.investor.gov and clink on the tab; Check Out Your Investment Professional. you will see a bunch of names there (aka You know who) but since the phone number you listed is a Texas number and there are only two people from Texas on the page... I will let you be the detective here.
I know i'm a lil late to the party. Hopefully, this will help you in the future.
