I had carpet installed a few years ago. Mislead on warranty. Called to see what they can do for me . Want to install laminate floor. They told me to go pound sand, not wanting to work with me.

I guess you have nothing better to do then rip someone else off. Sell your towels and move on.

They are correct telling you to go pound sand if your warranty has expired. How exactly are YOU expecting THEM to work with YOU when THERE IS NOTHING TO WORK WITH!!! THEY don't warranty the items in question. THAT is done by a third party warranty service so there is NO implications of fraud on either side. YOUR warranty expired, so THEY don't have to do ANYTHING for you. YOU of course are going to parrot the "Customer" angle. 'Im the customer!! You HAVE to help me". Sorry but YOUR self entitlement DOES NOT mean THEY have to "work with you". YOU made assumptions as to the length and scope of said warranty. You WERE given the warranty information but as usual, people like yourself are "Too Busy" to read fine print. Or "Too Important" to be bothered with little things LIKE reading. When are consumers going to learn that YOU as an individual are JUST NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!!!! So YOU put in carpet some years ago and got a warranty. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! That warranty while it was in effect would have solved a few problems for you. But since it is NO LONGER an active warranty, ANYTHING they do for YOU would be out of the kindness of their hearts. Which as we all know NO ONE in America HAS a heart. Its ALL business. heres a thought, put yourself in their shoes and HONESTLY answer this question. How long do you think THEY would be open as a business if THEY gave in to EVERY ridiculous demand for them to "work with" a customer? Its a business!! They have overhead, expenses, and payroll. All the while trying to make a PROFIT!!! You know EXACTLY like YOU try to do. So while Im sure it made YOU feel better to rant online, YOU are ignoring REALITY!!!!! YOU are doing this on purpose in an attempt to defame them. Which by that action could garner YOU a civil suit. Grow up and just admit that YOU screwed up and ASSUMED that your warranty covered YOUR expectations. Since it expired, there is NO HELP for YOU and YOU are attempting to use the web to force their hand. YOU are NOT reporting some GREAT INJUSTICE!!!! YOU are trying to have your cake and eat it too. THEY wont fall for YOUR internet scheme. You cant SCAM or BULLY them into giving YOU your way.YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR NEW FLOOR OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET!!!!!!
