In that respect, i agree.  They should have displayed the fact it was a lemon buy back.  Set your mind at ease though, that car holds mods really well.  Upgrade the Supercharger to a TVS, add a Aluminum Driveshaft and a Fays2 Watts Linkage. The 2008 is the first year of the lightweight under drive pulley!  thats a plus for the crankshaft, less stress.  And Tuning?  Jon Lund, Brent White, or Justin from VMP can do the deed oh so well!  I bet if you sat down with the Lewis guys, you could work a sweet deal on these mods.  It is only fair since the non disclosure of the Lemon, don't u think?  In the end, you will possess a real Street Warrior!   (just trying to help here).....    v/r,  Mustang Bruce

PS:  The Lewis family is the only Ford Dealer around here with Muscle car experience.   They have done cars and trucks with 1,000 HP as daily drivers.

That may be true but that is not the problem I have with Lewis Ford. They did not disclose that this was a lemon law buy back, as I would not have bought it I had known. There treatemnt of us afterwards is my biggest complaint. When we went back and talked about this we were told "you bought it, you own it". So no attempt in any way to see out problem with such as a extended warranty or anything. Just our way or the highway. In any events out complaints still stands. Watch out for Lewis Ford as they use deceptive advertising and will not help you in any way if you have a problem with you purchase there.

Is this Shelby GT500 a Blue and White Striper?  If so, then understand this!  The GT500 is a hand built motor, it is created to cater to few.  Built extremely well mind you.  That 2008 did have a Lemon Law on it for stupid reasons.  there was nothing wrong with that car.  The first owner if i recollect, most likely tried to evade the finance company and bring the car back to utilize the current law.  Some consumers out there are immature.  Nothing wrong with that Shelby!  I myself, came close to buying the car!  At the time, the price was out of my reach is all.  I sold 45 GT500s while employed at that dealership.  Not a single car was a Lemon or even close.  The second owner of this car babied it.  I guarantee that.  Never raced it, always serviced on time, never any major Lemon issues.  I like to chime in on reviews at times, not to be a anooyance, but when i do reply, it is factual information.  I hope that helps you!  Your car is solid.
