on 11/7/03 I ordered a free cell phone offer from liberty wireless.
Three & four days later I call their Cust. service to check on my order and ther rep. tells me that it still has not been mailed. Now, the order is origionally (supposedly) five to seven days...
You do the math; and lets see how much longer it takes to ship out (if at all), and my money has been waiting!

Tim,
LW claimed they couldn't get my money out of my account for the first payment, then they double billed me. They took $208.64 for a $104.32 bill & three weeks later I'm still fighting to get my money back.

If they do this to you, too, Do NOT rely on what they tell you on the phone. They will lie. If you have been double dipped, have your bank immediately complain for you. My credit union gave me the money back on a provisional credit.

Check your accounts daily to be sure. LW will tell you they only 'show' one payment, or whatever. They will lie. Ask your bank to fax a copy of the proof of the double theft to LW, with a copy to you. LW will tell you it will take 7-10 days to 'get an answer'. That is a lie. Tell then you want an urgent escalation to their so called billing department, with a time certain for contact back.

If you call, you will talk to a filipino who will apologize as if (s)he cared, but do nothing. Tell the liar you will escalate to the BBB, the FCC, the FTC, and the Attorneys General for your state & for MD.

Protect yourself. Getting your money back from these thieves will be difficult, but you need to protect yourself. BTW, AT&T's GoPhone is working very well for me... & I think their call centers are in this country, not outsourced.

can't get the money

i have cell service with liberty wireless. but these people can't seem to be able to take the money out of my checking account. i give them all the info and they still can't and end up with my service interupted. it's got to be a bunch of crap

I will need to speak with the PRESIDENT of Liberty wireless himself!!!! I have contacted Sprint PCS as well regarding the issue that I have with Liberty wireless services!!!
My next move will be to contact a LAWYER. I have been a good custmer of Liberty Wireless, and do not deserve the run around that I am getting from them.

some one used my credit card to do something with liberty wireless and the company has no way to contact them to stop the payment they can ues any person credit card with no problem

Please don't start a cell phone contract with this company. They suck majorly! I paid my bill through money gram on a friday evening. I was told that it takes 24 hours for my payment to post to my account. Well it did not post, and it is Monday evening about 7:00pm and still no payment. That friday evening they suspended my service, and would not restore it. I provided the refrence number, and a fax copy of my receipt. Still they would not turn my phone back on. It is Monday evening and I have spoke to about 10 reps today alone. Not to mention all the other reps I spoke to over the weekend. I've been a loyal customer of Liberty's for a year and there was nothing they could do for me except tell me I need to wait until billing find my payment. What kind of cell phone company is this? Man, they really really suck. After this month I will be finding a new company.
