I engaged Lory Kelsey, AKA THE GREENWICH MATCHMAKER, in a six-month agreemnt to help me find a traditional, long term relationship. I paid her $30,750 US Dollars. She introduced me to four women; two of them wanted to see me again, but upon reviewing their profiles and interviewing them, I found the information Lory provided is incorrect and that these ladies were not interested or preparing for a long term relationship. I canceled our agreement by certified mail. Lory has refused to return any of my money.

Right to Cancel a Service Contract

A customer has the right to cancel a service contract if he finds that the statements made by the issuer were inaccurate, misleading, or downright false. That was the case with this contract. The issuer was given ample time to answer the questions the lawyer I hired asked her. She did not, and that's why this case is being investigated by the Office of Consumer Protection in CT. You should learn the law before you make statements like this.

What makes you think you would have a right to cancel the contract? It is normal that would have to try several people to find a good match. And it sounds like you’re the one who rejected the women! Besides that, you would have to be crazy to spend $30,000 on a matchmaking service. Do you have any idea how many starving people you could have helped with that kind of money?
