This place was a rip off. From the staff being inflexible and I accommodating to begging for tips for rendering the most basic services...The staff stand idly around the entrance and discuss guests in Maasai language as they come and go....forgetting some of the guests actually understand their language. That was also another way of soliciting tips by hanging around the reception area.

Rooms are infested with mice/rats that kept us awake at night as they ran around in the rafters. There were mice droppings in our sink and in the floor daily.  A warning about a leopard recently cited in the camp was casually placed in the room. Once in the rooms for the night, we were cut off from the rest of our group as there is no WiFi or room phones.

To make matters worse, electricity is rationed and turned off at 10:30 pm each night. They promise staff escorts but if they provide it, they hang around to be paid or tipped! The mosquito nets were torn and holes knotted. Meals were mediocre and no water was provided. We were forbidden from bringing our own water into the dining area and forced to purchase from the hotel.

One 32 oz bottle of water was provided in each double room to be shared for drinking and brushing teeth. The pool was dirty and worn, stained towels were laid on dirty poolside furniture. Everything was so mediocre and low standard that no one from our group did anything besides eat, shower, sleep and wait to drive to the game park the next day. I felt cheated out of every penny I paid. It was terribly underwhelming. Buyer beware!
