I'm furious, this is ridiculous, what can we do about this kind of stuff? I've searched the name on my billing statements, and have come up with more than a dozen people who have been scammed by these hulligans. I'm out 60.00 USD.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

MC digi-group is a real company

AUTHOR: Cheesynuts - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 19, 2008

MC Digi-group is a real company that is not affiliated with ifriends. If you have a charge on your card from MC Digi-group it's because you sigtn up to hornymatches.com. Many people will come across their popular add, (((ROR redacted))) wich will display girls in your area. Many people would sign up to this site.. then try to get refunds because the girl they were attracted to them, or for whatever other reasons. There is no rip off here... if you see the charge from MC Digi-group, you signed up to the site. If you didn't.. call the number that shows beside the charge on your statement(many online statements don't display it so call your CC company and they should see the phone#). They will look into it and refund accordingly..they can tell who signed up for the account via email verification and IP address.

As much as I don't like the employer... the site is great. I got to use it free, and have had great results.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! After becoming aware of the above RipOffReport complaint, we were able to locate Kevin's account with iFriends. We have cancelled his account and have refunded the charges that were billed to him. When Kevin created the account, he affirmatively chose to enroll in the upgraded iFriends Elite membership. The regular iFriends membership is free, but the Elite membership that Kevin chose to access carries a monthly charge. This charge was clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance, and Kevin participated in numerous click-throughs to indicate his acknowledgement and consent to the monthly charge.

In addition to iFriends, Kevin mentions MC DIGI-GROUP in his complaint. Our company is not associated in any way with MC DIGI-GROUP. If Kevin has received charges from that company, he will need to contact them directly to resolve the situation.

We provide a link to email and telephone contact information on every page of our website, and every charge that we bill includes the toll-free telephone number at which we can be contacted, if the user has any questions about the charge or about his account. Despite this, Kevin never contacted us to question the charges which had appeared on his bill. Had he done so, we would have been happy to immediately refund the charges and cancel the account. If Kevin has any further questions or concerns, we encourage him to contact our Customer Care Department at 1-800-243-9726. Representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our company has a spotless 11-year-record with all of the leading consumer protection agencies, and we are an industry leader in the development of model online consumer best practices. Every one of our web services is verified by TRUSTe to be on its sealholder list of "the most trustworthy online businesses." All prices and terms on our service are clearly and conspicuously disclosed, including use of prominent icons and multiple clickthroughs, in any instance in which a customer will incur charges. In addition, our "Customer is Always Right" policy ensures that we take action sufficient to obtain each customer's complete satisfaction, including making refunds for any charges which a customer has incurred but disputes.
