Update I filed a complaint on line with the FTC and the US Postal Service. Easy to do , just go to their web sites.

Following is the letter I sent to Mr. Hughes:

I am disputing the validity of this debt or any portion thereof.

Please send me verification of the debt and a copy of the judgment immediately.

I am also requesting the name and address of the company and account number to which this debt is owed, as well as the name and the address of the original creditor and the date of the debt.

I am not aware of any debt incurred by me and as a result I have contacted the Office Of The Attorney General (copy enclosed)
