MidAtlantic Ortho MidAtlantic Orthodontics, MidAtlantic Dental Products Multiple Lies, False Promises, Phony Exaggerations, Pathological Lying Sociopaths Treat Job Applicants With No Respect, Worst Interviewing Experience Ever West Berlin, NJ

 I have had other job searching experiences in the past that were unpleasant, but MidAtlantic Ortho has the distinction of now taking the top prize. They have far and away provided me with the worst interviewing experience of my career. This is the first time I ever expressed my utter disgust online. Their so called General Affairs Manager/HR Representative, Allison Simons, lied to me before I even agreed to come in for an interview by telling me that the base salary for the sales position was $65,000. As I now can see, this was just an attempt to mislead me into spending the time to meet after I told her my salary history and expectations. She followed that up with multiple lies, false promises, and several exaggerations. The Welcome Aboard letter she sent a week after my interview was not sincere and either was the runaround in promising me the offer letter the day after the Welcome Aboard letter, which I didn't receive. Then Allison told me it would be the end of the following week, and when the offer letter still never came, a guarantee that it would be provided the Monday after was another lie. Then when I asked what was going on, Allison went into classic Casey Anthony mode with her stories of the letter having the final touches being put on it, that several different departments were involved in the decision (which makes zero sense in a 15 person company) and discussions about territories and that multiple Inside Sales reps were being hired. Just 3 days later, all of a sudden she made it sound like there was the need in finding an investor to pay one Sales Representative, more nonsense about several departments working on it, and there being no time frame for an offer, followed by saying the position had been put on hold. A complete contradiction from one update to the next. All of this I have evidence of in e-mails from her. Inhuman Resources is a better description of Allison. It is obviously clear that Allison is a pathological liar. The only truthful thing she said was that my references were great. I know if she worked for my company, her behavior would lead to an immediate termination. However, she isn't the only one to blame. She wouldn't do all that by herself. She was the spokesperson for a management team that are unprofessional sociopaths. I kindly reached out to the VP of Business Development, Tom Macari, for some perspective on what was going on and he completely ignored 2 texts that I sent. That leaves the owner, Tony Prusich, and the Vice President, Mike Parlante. Are they innocent in all this? Not a chance. In such a small company, they wouldn't be oblivious to this disgusting treatment. They are definitely, no question complicit in it. It is clear from this most despicable behavior is that I was never going to receive an offer. Instead of telling me at any time that what I was looking for was more than the company wanted to pay for the position, that I was overqualified, I was treated with complete disrespect and strung along while they looked for candidates that they could offer less. They figured they would jerk me over until they found a cheaper option and I would just get frustrated and give up. All of them obviously lack any human decency, so they will probably laugh at this and say--That's right. We screwed him on purpose. That's what very sick people do. And sadly enough, I had the misfortune of encountering people like them. But in the long run, it's for the best. What if I had been hired? I would have been fired for no reason just to give them all some maniacal pleasure. Instead, I will find a solid, professional company that will appreciate my talents where I will be a strong asset as I always have been and be rewarded for my accomplishments.
