The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Rhett Kasparian during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards Notus Human Capital.
Notus Human Capital offers specialized services in correlation with job searches and ways to improve your current work performance to individual consumers as well as companies. These services include the revision of resumes, writing cover letters, and interview coaching for individual consumers. Rhett Kasparian explained how their services benefits companies during outplacement, "they'll send them to our company...it's a good gesture for them, and it's part of the severance package to help those displaced employees."
Leads for Notus Human Capital are obtained primarily through referrals from satisfied clients, as well as organic searches through internet advertising. Clients often sing praises of their services due to Notus Human Capital's commitment to providing excellent service to the consumer, "every person we've worked with over the past 18 years we offer that service for life...we offer our help for no additional costs." During the onsite interview Mr. Kasparian was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that during the oftentimes trying and emotional task of finding a job clients have a difficult time managing their expectations. In order to remedy this Notus Human Capital makes sure to explain in detail exactly how they can help their clients. Additionally, if there is ever a perceived expectation that isn't met, "we talk to them."
When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Kasparian expressed that he believes some of the comments were made by a competitor due to the personal attacks made in the statement. Additionally, he expressed that a past client posted a complaint because Notus Human Capital reached out to them on a Saturday, "she was upset that he called on a Saturday when it was coming from a place of trying to go the extra mile to help." Do not believe them when they say they have connections! Please read this before wasting $1,500.00 on a nice resume. There are a lot of cheaper resume writing companies out there.
If you are in the medical device world please do not listen to them. They have no real connections in this area. They try to make it look like they do.
First look up in Linked In and see if you see any person within the company you are looking at and see if they say they are a 1st connection with Notus. There is a good chance they are not.
I joined with the expectation of using just their resume and connection status due to the fact that the medical device industry is run on connections. After about 4 months of trying their program and doing everything that they say they still do not have any connections I need. I spent a total of $1,500.00 just to get a good resume for myself. I have done more on my own than I ever had working with them.

Not the full story - could have been resolved

The feelings expressed here by one of our past clients is disappointing because he could have taken a reasonable approach in expressing his dissatisfaction and spoken directly with me. Had he done so, he wouldn’t have felt the need to post in this kind of forum, because I would have resolved it with him as we would with any client - to their satisfaction.
The client knew this . . . and there’s a reason he didn’t discuss it with me or go through a professional remediation process. He knows he’s not telling the full story, because the full story, with all of the facts, would tell a very different side that wouldn’t support his inaccurate assertions.
I do however, see his comments in part as my failure to not better set and control his expectations. The client wanted to move from another state and transition into a new industry - at the same time. It wasn’t going to be easy, but it was doable. His single minded focus on just the Notus Network was a hindrance to finding his next opportunity. I knew he was interested in our connections, but how he thought we would somehow have a bunch of medical device sales professionals living in one specific city in Colorado, is a fundamental misunderstanding of our process and how a job search works.
Of course we have connections. Thousands. Every client we’ve helped over the past 17 years is a part of the Network and extensive recommendations from these “non-existent” clients can be found on my LinkedIn profile and the profiles of other Notus employees.
At least he was honest about getting a nice resume. Of course he paid $1500 for a lot more than the resume - he just decided not to better utilize what he paid for. As I said before, it’s unfortunate, and frankly unfair to us, he chose this method. I would have liked to resolve this directly with him and the truth is, in the very few cases where we fall below our high service standards - we always make it right, we just need to be given the chance.
