These SOB took me to court and I went to court ready to fight them and they never showed up. The Judge dismissed the case and I have the letter to prove that, but what happens now? How do I get this taken off my credit report? What do I need to do? Any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks

Christie,

The lawsuit has no bearing at all on your credit report. It is a separate issue that you have to fight.

You must dispute it with each credit bureau. Do this in writing and send by certified mail, return reciept requested. Be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself and make a copy for your records. This procedure is very important.

Good luck.
