sent an offer for no credit check preapproved credit card, sent them $79 for fees, no card received.

I was sent a preapproved credit card letter asking for a fee to get the card. I sent in $79.00 and have never received a credit card. I have since discovered this is a fraudulent company.

I should have checked to see the company's background

I have received a similar note sent by the same creditor(Peoples Credit First) saying that my credit have been pre-approved without checking a single thing and that there was already a card reserved for me. The catch was that I had to send them an advance fee of $79.00 in order to get my card.

I knew that I could only utilize this card with in limits and thee only thing I could purchase was from a catalog that they send you. That I understood. After receiving my catalog and thoroughly examining, I have not found anything with the catalog that was attractive or anything that was worth its value, everything in the catalog was OVER-PRICED by a large margin.

Acting out of discontentment, I decided to call them to cancel my account(let me remind you that this was in August until now.) I have called from opening hours to the end of the day and yet I have never gotten through. Finally, I decided to check out the web site and hopefully try to cancel my account from there.

To enter the web page you have to type in your user's name and a password which included the account number for the user's name and your name for the password. Knowing that there's a note that says it's case and space sensitive, I tried many different ways to see if I can get in. After about 10 minutes of trying, I was unsuccessful and quite frustrated.

Not knowing much about this company, I realized that I should check to see the company's background. After carefull spectualtion I found out that this a dishonest company that retains no moral respect for anyone and for those who works for this FRADULENT COMPANY!!! I hope you insinerate in HELL and for the CEO of this company I pray that your future generations will born without a sphinter.

No after onsulting my attourney about this "Certificate" he stated that it is a credit card, as it still has a APR on it and you use it to charge to an "CREDIT" account.

People first will not be getting my money but will be getting a nice report to the BBB in my area, and hopefully you all will do the same.

Peoples Credit First received your $49 money order on 8/20th. Your package was mailed on August 26th. We have never charged $79. We do not take money out of anybody's account.

Our certificate does not state it is a credit card of any sort. We have a lot of members that love our program. If you choose to cancel, you need to send the complete package back within 30 days. We will send you a refund.
