Our wedding coordinator, Lucy Rodriquez, was horribly unorganized and unprofessional. There are many empty promises that she did not keep. Our cake was the wrong cake and was lop-sided....she so unaware that she posted a picture of it on her website!!www.itsperfectsense.com She was late for setting up the ceremony. She told the Reverend the wrong time for the ceremony, making him late. She called the bride 11 times during the day of the wedding about issues she was having about decorating the chairs! She started taking down decorations a half an hour before the allotted time at the reception...people were still dancing!

She had me cut a check in the middle of our wedding dinner, I then realized after that day that she had over charged us. When asking for an invoice receipt she began to be very defensive and angry. After my wife and I reviewed the invoice we realized we were over charged. When we asked for the amount we had over payed she began to verbally abuse us and accused myself of some very inappropriate things only after we requested the money back. My wife had spoken with Lucy on 2 different occasions after the wedding and the accusations were never brought up until we asked for the money that was over payed. When we asked to speak with her boss she stated, "its a family owned business and they would take her side over ours", and "she's her own boss". She also accused us of trying to ruin our own wedding to make her look bad....believe me she didn't need any help from us. (and what couple would want to ruin their own wedding day!)

We would appreciate the amount that we over payed, and an apology from Lucy Rodriquez and her boss for the inappropriate accusations that she made. We also believe that Lucy Rodriquez should be terminated due to her extreme false accusations and her behavior and lack of professionalism through-out the coarse of planning this wedding. She has no business being in this line of work.

Luci Rodriguez Home Address and Phone Number

AUTHOR: Helping others - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, August 22, 2009

I am a web designer and came across the reviews on ripoffreport. After feeling bad for the victim I wanted to see what I could do to help. I did two simple things. First, I checked the domain name with WhoIs and it provided Luci's home address, which is : (((Redacted))) I then checked whitepages and did a reverse search for that address and discovered Lucian's number (her real first name) and a number of: (407) 355-3927 for that address. Low and behold I then called the number and actually asked for the owner of P.S.E and she stated she was the owner, and her name is Luci and wanted to know how I got that information... I then hung up. So I know this information is correct. I would recommend contacting the Orlando Attorney General's office and filing formal complaints. The BBB will take a report, but since she is not a member, she does not have to cooperate and there is nothing they can really do other than list a complaint was filed against her on their site and that she did not cooperate. The AG's office can do much more....they can take legal action against her. I hope this all helps you guys and would recommend not letting this woman get away with what she has done. One complaint is sometimes not enough to affect her business, but two complaints with similar issues about how she conducts her business proves to consumers she is to be avoided. If nothing else, her name and business name are tanted and will follow her anywhere she goes and in this industry. I would recommend continuing to report her on ripoffreport with her name and all known addresses/phone numbers as it will appear when anyone does a simple search for her. As far as her company's website, she closed the site out and deleted all of her files. I would keep an eye out for a new site and new domain coming soon.....

Also....

We never told Lucy we could not afford a photographer. We told her we weren't paying for one and that we would have family members take pictures for us. In her rebuttal she includes the 190 pictures they took like it was a part of our contract. Again, highly unorganized and she has no idea what she charged us for. And this is also a perfect example on how unprofessional she is to publicly announce that her clients "can't afford" a photographer....unbelievable.

One more bit of proof we have is that Lucy sent us a copy of our past payments, it is completely wrong. She made up a history of payments because she doesn't keep record of them. The invoice states we paid her every month until the wedding. My bank account does not show that...so where does she get her info from? It also doesn't include the $500.00 check of mine that she LOST. I had to cancel a check and then send her another one. In her history of payments, she makes up check amounts, times and places of payments. It's a joke....plain and simple.

All lies once again....but key factor is DO NOT USE PERFECT SENSE EVENTS

Again, it was only after my wife and I asked for the money that was overcharged to us that these terrible accusations were made. There is no way that we are the only couple in 5 years that is unhappy. Like I said, Lucy's lack of organization and professionalism is horrific. I would be surprised if there was an truth that comes from her mouth.

She now accuses me of being too drunk. I'm sorry, but that is not her place to judge. I was fine....ask the 50 guests at our wedding party. First I was accused of "fondling" her little sister (again only after we asked for the money that was over charged) and then it was her sister and herself. And as you can see now, in her poor excuse for a rebuttal, that I have fondled the entire staff. *An important note- Lucy's husband was the one taking pictures, don't you think if a husband saw his wife and her crew being fondled throughout the night - that he would have the backbone to make it stop or at least say something? The answer is YES he would, he didn't however because these are all false accusations. What husband would allow this? And this is what Perfect Sense Events does when you ask them the reason for over payment. She never calmly explained why she was ripping us off, she immediately began to scream at me, and cry, and accuse me of these despicable things. Don't believe a struggling wedding planner that is trying to keep her company in good name.

As far as the cake, we have 50 guests that will agree that the cake was lop-sided at the beginning of the night. It was a sight for sore eyes from the beginning. Lucy is also lying about the A/C being broken. The A/C was running fine...however I'm sure she was feeling the heat because everybody was talking about how unprofessional the coordinator was throughout the night.

Another lye is saying that she started breaking down at 12am. Again, we have 50 witnesses saying that she broke down just after 1130pm.

Yes my wife and I were trying to portrait the image that we were happy on our wedding day. The truth is we were very unhappy with how our coordinator was acting and frantically moving around. Lucy, our coordinator, called my wife 10+ times during the day of the wedding to complain about issuses she was having with the chairs and how she couldn't get along with the reception hall manager. NO SURPRISE there!

When I asked Lucy to speak to her boss to file a complaint she began to cry and say that her boss would believe her story over mine. How immature is that? All I want to do is to speak with her boss in person to let him/her know how unprofessional their wedding coordinator, LUCY RODRIGUEZ, is. She will not give out her boss's information. As far as her claiming I would stake our her office, one can understand I was only trying to get in touch with her boss...not her. But she can't seem to understand that.

I am warning everybody out there to stay away from this poor excuse for a company.

Our First Dissatisfied Customer in Over Five Years

AUTHOR: Perfectsenseevents - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 23, 2009

At Perfect Sense Events, we specialize in providing beautiful weddings at a budget price. This particular couple signed a contract with us for a budget package for 50 guests and later added 10 guests. Days before the wedding they called and cancelled those 10 guests and we informed them on more than one occassion that days before the wedding all the food and decorations have been ordered so they would still have to pay for the 10 guests.

Because the couple was on a budget we gave them an excellent deal. They couldn't afford a photographer so we even had one of our staff take over 190 pictures for free. Please check out over 190 pictures of the happy couple on their wedding day using this link

http://picasaweb.google.com/LuciRod1/31409NancyAndRyan?authkey=Gv1sRgCOnfhZHK7bvWKA&feat=directlink

(The price for this beautiful wedding including the ceremony, reception, food, decorations, centerpeices, cake, 190 pictures and 10 guests that they added was only $3,611.50!)

Unfortunately, the groom did have a lot to drink and towards the end of the evening he was sexually harrassing members of the staff. We did not bring this to the attention of the bride for obvious reasons on her wedding day. However, at that point we did have to ask for payment and in case the behavior continued or progressed for our own protection. The payment we received and we asked for exactly what we had discussed and we have proof of receipt of statements with the amount dating back months. There were no changes made on the day of the wedding on our part. All services were rendered and we have proof that the couple seemed very happy. They did not complain at all to us on the day of the wedding.

Over a month after the wedding, they felt they should be refunded for the 10 guests that did not show up. They chose the country club and the money for the food had already been paid to them. They can not issue us a refund, therefore, we can not issue the bride and groom a refund. We have made several efforts to explain this to the couple in a courteous way while the groom has made several physical threats against our employees including threatening to stake out the office.

We do keep this couple in our thoughts and prayers and wish them only the best.

(We would also like to mention that we were on time, the reverened that they chose was a preferred vendor of ours who they interviewed and chose but does not work for our company, and the reception hall they chose had no air conditioning which is why our beautiful cake started to melt towards the end of the night. We had a staff of 7 employees working for this couple from 3 PM until Midnight when the country club had us contractually obligated to break down.)
