Same drill, except that neither me nor my wife were contacted by anyone regarding any magazine. We just found out that my wife's card was used for an unaouthirized transaction in the amount of 14 dollars.

Others have tried and failed, fortunately, as Bank of America helped us putting a stop payment on the transactions. Just be careful out there, keep a close eye on your check or credit card transactions and call your bank if you see something bogus.
