I received a notification of a pre-approved loan for $15,000. A Ms. Kelly blackwood was supposed to be the loan officer. I checked the web, and the web page misspelled privacy, and I also looked up the address on Google. Two mistakes was the address on the letter, the street name was misspelled, and the business was not listed as being at that location. Ms. blackwood said I would have to have the loan secured by three months of payments.
I also did an ip address lookup for the sender, and the ip address was not coming from N.C.
Please be aware of these scams, thankfully I did not lose any money.
