They tried to cheat us out of our $10,000 deposit. They used unapproved methods, did not obtain the appropriate permits and according to Calvert County permits office, lied to them and later apologized for their behavior. The county inspector shut them down and it ended up working in our favor. They ended up selling this property for $35,000 less than they were trying to sell it to us for. It all adds up now. They were asking for a $40,000 deposit so if anything went wrong they could try and keep the money. We never received reimbursement for the cost of the tiles we bought for the bathroom.

They tried to cheat us out of our $10,000 deposit.
