Root Insurance Company Took money out of my account for 2 months after i cancelled Columbus, OH

We cancelled policy with them. And for 2 months after they still took it out of my account. Contacted them and was told i had to pay thru 1st of June, because that was the policy. So i contacted the BBB and they sent Root a letter. They replied and said they would not refund and that i needed to provide them with proof that i had insurance, why would i have to ? So i think everybody needs to see how shady of a business that they run. I have filed a complaint with the FTC also

- Every State including Oregon requires that you maintain minimum insurance. It is often a requirement with these regulations that upon changing insurance companies the company needs to verify that you are maintaining continuing coverage. If you did not have coverage then you would be in violation of the law and they could be held liable.
