I have had the honor and privilege of working for Ryan Huckstep and while I'll admit he can inspire a following and paint a pretty picture of a bad situation both he and his brother the talented Jon Huckstep - are the epitome of integrity and honesty. While I was under Ryan's employment he strived to not only maintain the utmost professionalism with venders, he demanded this from his staff. First off this guy is saying that Ryan was holding out on a tab for 7k, anyone that knows Ryan knows that he could pay that 3 times over using the change from the ashtray of his Land Rover. Ryan is the type of guy that cares greatly for his fellow employees, borrowers, AND venders. His generosity is second to none. It is clearing from reading this courier's words, he clearly is not giving the complete story Ryan doesn't burn bridges, anyone in the mortgage/real estate business knows that it's not what you know it's who you know and reputation is everything. If this vendor had honored their end of the bargain and not came up with erroneous fees for sub par work then Ryan would have gladly paid for their services.

Everybody can blame the current administration in the white house & who controls the states republicans! The rich are making us middle class & poor people poorer & they are making themselves richer!.

If countrywide is doing this to people not applying payments to peoples accounts then they need to be disbarred for screwing with people, if the courts found out countrywide is screwing people over the courts would shut them down! everybody can blame the current administration for violating our civil rights! Look at what mortages companies are putting people threw these days!. Just look at all the problems! If a mortage company is commiting fraud & wrongfully foreclosing on peoples homes then they should be punished & charged with felonies for ruining peoples lives!

I would believe anything people have to say about countrywide! It is sad how they treat people & they don't care they don't have a heart towards people! When you pay them ontime they don't update your credit files & they purposefully put you 30 days past due on your credit files. It's our job to expose these kinds of illegal, & fraudlent activies commited by countrywide!

Most of the comments here are enough to make someone gag. Why don't we all roll out the red carpet and blow the horn for this Ryan a**. Anyone affiliated with this company is scum. Ameriquest is the scum of the earth. Why anyone would get on this site and brag about this company's fraudulent activities and the employees who lied and stole from unsuspecting customers is unreal! Hopefully, and I must say could become realistically, all employees will be out on the street soon and this pitiful, theiving, unreputable company will be out of commission. I only hope the so-called owners/presidents/whatever of scumquest are made to pay for all the damage they have caused their customers. I am all for capital punishment.

I am not too smart about this but was wondering if it is unusual for the appraisal to be signed and dated may 10 2004 and I closed on the house april 23 2004. Also the company that did the appraisal only serves northeast ohio and I live in southwest ohio. My county is not even on there county served list. Also on the appraisal it says they did a complete appraisal and they actually was only at my home for 10 minutes. Heck they say I have a two car driveway and it's only a one car driveway.and i have been trying to refinance but the appraisal done 2 years agao was inflated by about 25000 dollars

For years I have been wanting to thank RYAN HUCKSTEP for how his determination, integrity, focus and positive state of mind. He has deeply impacted my life and the life of others around me.

In October of 2003 I had the pleasure of meeting RYAN and his St Pettersburg office in Maui for the first time. After leaving the weekend with them, I never viewed work or life the same. He has a true sence of compassion and sensibility. He stands up for what he belives is right and helps give guidence to the ones he leads. I was a true beiliver after the second night I spent with his crew. I heard nothing but praise and gratitude. They said that Huckstep had changed there lifes for the better with his incredible charisma and look into the future. They were honered to not only know him, but to have the opportunity to now be inspired as an employee.

It only wish his jelous competitors, who slander his name on sites like this had the oportunity to know Ryan they way I got too. I will never be the same.

THE BRANCH IS SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF THE DILLIGENCE OF THE OPERATIONS STAFF AND THE OPERATIONS MANAGER---AND THAT'S IT. I WOULD HOPE THAT THE AES DO NOT NEED A WALKING, TALKING POSITIVITY POSTER VOMITING IN THEIR EARS (WHEN HE DOES EVENTUALLY WALTZ INTO THE OFFICE) IN ORDER TO SELL LOANS

PS- THERE ARE NOW 7 PROCESSORS AND 1 OPERATIONS MANAGER. SO THEIR NUMBERS INCREASING ARE A DIRECT RESULT OF HAVING MORE MANPOWER TO PUSH THE PAPER OUT. WHEN THE BRANCH WAS DOING 60 LOANS, THERE WERE ONLY 3 PROCESSORS AND NO OPERATIONS MANAGER.

I think by now everyone who has found their way to this very wonderful website will agree it is meant to help others help themself, join forces and utilize concrete information to stop the abuse and suffering. I'm fighting to protect my
home and trying to help prevent others from being foreclosed on, overcharged and just plain decieved.

What I want and need to know is what was done, how it was done, who did it and what was the result, did anyone succeed in the battle against the ugly monster or not? Does anyone have any "good news?"

The truth ALWAYS has a way of coming out, if some guy or gal did some bad things then they will pay for thier actions, but I personally would like to know where they are getting their corporate strategies from, who is the brain of the company? Who is the "Boss", the top dog in the race for world domination, conquering the little guy one house at a time?

Anyway, I suppose it was a very good thing to remove yourself from "rubbing elbows" with people who are driven by greed and the desire to take advantage of peoples misfortune "for a living." Consider yourself blessed. As for those people who choose to follow in the footsteps of someone that does a convincing job of pulling the wool over the eyes of thier clients, my question is, why wouldn't that person do the same to you?

Ryan keep doing what your doing! The bottom line is that everyone has taken something from you, they may not know it, but they have. Your passion goes a long way. Countrywide needed someone like you, your hunger will allow them to reach world domination. People like Matt who does not like you, really loves you. You made him a better person and he knows it. Your words, your belief and your tenacity goes a long way. Matt is a great person within his self, and I know that he would agree that you have some remarkable qualities. I hope that everyone that reads these postings realize that sometimes the best are hated, but that is what makes them great. I wish everyday that I didn't leave your branch. I regret trying to mimick your style and thinking that I had the decipline to implement your ways. I failed and I was forced to move on. Their Audits start way before they get to the branch. This is normally from a disgruntled employee or ex-employee. Sometimes from someone knowing what is going on in a branch.

This is also known as an Internal Investigation.
So, when corporate comes to your office, you can expect, someone will be fired. And mostly for a good reason!

And if they quit AMC, they usually can't handle the heat or stress.

I can't help but respond to these claims- I feel like this website is all just a gossip train- something for people to get amusement from when they are bored- think about it- over half of the reports are from ex-employees probably pissed they got fired and want to get back at someone or get under their skin-You know d**n well that over half of this whole website is proabably false.

I feel sorry for him- obviously someone hates him and feels the need to tell the world of their hate- that doesn't mean that the nasty comments are true-
He's the best manager I've ever had-
He is the most talented person I have ever met- and he does things the RIGHT WAY --He loves what he does- He is so involved with his branch and tries to help everyone- not many managers do that- they just sit back, kick up their feet and collect their paycheck- Not Ryan Huckstep- He works from 9:30 in the morning to 10, and 11 at night- sometimes even later- to get things done since he helps us all day-
He believes in the company he works for and that is why he is doing so well- when you get excited about something- it's contagious- all the other employees get excited too- except for a few select ones that won't get off their lazy butts- It would not surprise me if they wrote the previous entry- they are just bitter that their friend was fired- and misery loves company so they just all hang together and make everybody's lives miserable- whether it be their sarcasm or lack of interest in the branch-

Reading this response made me come to the realization that Ryan wrote this himself. There are several investigations going on currently in the Fla area that are tied to loans from AMC. AMC does not terminate top performers for no reason at all. Instead they give top performers much more flexibilty in what they can get away with vs. the non performing employee. There were very bad things going on in Fla, any terminations were justified and should not be heralded.

Time to set the record straight- for anyone that wants to know or thinks they know
Some say Ryan was made an example I disagree He is the example which people should strive to be.

The only Crime Ryan Huckstep ever committed was working too hard, for too long, being a slave and loyal servant to a Company that Never truly appreciated everything he did.
I personally know that He sacrificed everything including his family, friends, and life to for over 4 years to a company that doesn't even cherish the name they once had.

Everyone knows that Ryan left Ameriquest with his head held high, and that there was no wrong doing done on his part.
Ironically, Ryan is still making a difference to this day at a Company he doesn't even work for anymore. How??? Well within 60 days of his absence from the company over 6 BRANCH MANAGERS were promoted out of HIS BRANCH!! I THINK THIS GOES TO SHOW THAT HE KNOWS HOW TO DEVELOP HIS PEOPLE, DON'T YOU?

By definition, part of having character is facing adversity and overcoming it. No one can disagree that this is just what Ryan has done. The word is out on the street and this industry is too small not to know. Many have heard that he is duplicating his success all over again in with a new company, in a different city, in a different culture, with different employees, with an even stronger conservative approach.

Some people will never get it! Success to some doesn't come as easy as they may think it comes for someone like Ryan and the easiest way for them to cope is to come up with there own explanation or excuse. Maybe that is why they hide behind false accusations and statement such as the previous posting that is nothing but a lie. Lashing out, being negative and spending the time to write something that is so far from the truth about someone, or something that they don't even have the capability to comprehend is what I call their THERAPY. (Maybe they just wrote it while they were drunk not having a clear mind; hence the reason for all the misspellings.)

The fact of the matter is; I personally know that RYAN took over one of the weakest branches at one of the most hostile times 2 hours away from where he even lives. Now I personally have to believe that anyone that is welling to work from 9:30 in the morning till 11:30 Pm at night Monday-Friday and has a two hour drive has ambition and initiative.

The branch that he inherited was doing an Avg. of 30 loans a month!! The same employees that were doing those thirty had no manager for over 6 months and their previous manager Bernie was supposedly demoted for improper conduct and lack of production and was working out of the same branch.
Within 4 months of Ryan Huckstep taking over it has been said that the branch did over 100 loans and is ranked as one of the top branches in the Company.
My personal opinion is for anyone that doesn't believe Ryan isn't one of their best Managers ever -- they don't really know a great thing when they see it and they really don't deserve to work with him.

Anyone who says that one person can't make a difference is wrong. Ryan Huckstep has proven to many just like me that a career or job can mean so much more if you just have belief. He did nothing more but live this everyday to the fullest by the actions he has taken. Survey any employee that has worked for him in the past, interview any successful employee that works for him now, talk to any borrower that he has ever had the chance to talk to, even ask current Ameriquest employees, or just spend 5 minutes in the same room and you will personally validate the statement that he is one of the most unique and talented individuals you have ever met.

Proof comes from the fact that it is a know that Ryan doesn't even have to Recruit for his new branch. There are so many people that believe in him and the integrity that he has that they are leaving there jobs to come work for him.

Lead by example was something many managers say but Ryan does. He is a true mentor and inspiration to the people that worked for him and the company that he works for now.

I believe and I'm sure that many others agree that the REALITY IS THAT IT WAS AMERIQUEST'S LOSS AND COUNTRYWIDE FULL SPECTRUM'S GAIN!!
The worst thing Ameriquest ever did was lose Ryan and the best thing Countrywide did was scoop him up.
