I trading in my 2008 Suzuki XL7 for a Chevrolet Malibu 2014 consisting of a  warranty issues the same year manufactured at car dealership of 3061 Delacy Ford in Elma, New York 14069. I also paid down $2,500.00 in cash. The year the trade in transaction happen was 6/23/22. I gave no implied handshake and the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was bought as is. I also was not offered a pamphlet buyer Guide from the saleman I did business with. The saleman said he usually trades in 2020-2021 Ford vechicles. bought he happened to have a after marketing vechicles of 2014 Chevrolet Malibu for sale so I chance the situation nknowing it could be a financial scam. Just today my vechilcle happen toget towled because repossession  for me being in the hole -$2,500.00.

Irv is Da Man

AUTHOR: Rick - (United States)

We didn’t buy the vehicle. You did. You’re trying to blame us for not reading about the fees? If you believe you can just blame anyone for anything, you have a bigger problem than the car.

Sorry but....

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

I have no clue what your issue is.

However, you bought an 8-year-old car "As-Is" and somehow think that if something goes wrong it is a lemon.  That's not how it works...

If you failed to make your monthly payments the repossession is valid as the condition of the car has nothing to do with you still being required to make those payments.

ADDENDUM-FAKE FEE DEALERSHIP

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, November 18, 2023

YOU didn't even look at the price, did you? YOU didn't even bat an eyelash at the FAKE FEES, right? How about a FAKE "Acquistion" fee or a FAKE "Documentation" fee? You just went along with it without even using a thimble full of COMMON sens

The Blame Game Exemplified

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, November 18, 2023

The lender has nothing to do with the condition of the car. All they did was finance the purchase of which YOU failed to make payments and YOU caused a repo. The FACT it was an "as is" purchase would have been listed on the documentation YOU AGREED TO BY SIGNING. Apparently you didn't even bother to READ what you were signing. Smart...real, real smart. There's no scam here. YOU agreed to buy a car without a warranty. YOU failed to make on time payments. You come here to blame everybody in sight when the real blame goes to the person YOU see when YOU look into the nearest mirror. Of course, YOU could have agreed to not buy this car but YOU decided to move forward with an obviously bad deal.
