Sarah Voelker Extorted me for hundreds of dollars otherwise she would report me to authorities. Palm Shores Florida

I own a real estate in the Unitied States and I offer affordable rentals to local families. One of these rentals apartments is in Miami and is leased by a young couple that make their living by hosting travellers on Airbnb. Sarah Voelker from Germany was one of those travellers. 

What happened was, she made a reservation and after a couple nights, she saw a rat in the apartment.  She notified the hosts who informed me and I immediately sent an exterminator. The hosts offered her money back to vacate the property and find alternative accomodations.  

However, Sarah Voelker used this incident as an oppurtunty to profit. She did not want to vacate, she wanted to stay in the apartment. Her Airbnb reservation was cancelled and she was refunded. Sarah and her group remained in the apartment and refused to leave. She also said if we did not pay her money then she would notify the department of Health. 

My husband arrived at the apartment to find her still inside and saying she did not want to cancel. She was already refunded and Airbnb canceled the reservation. Since the apartment was suppose to be vacated with no people inside my husband recorded the situation for safety. In the recorded the I can hear the conversation that she did not want to cancel, but only wanted money.

She called Airbnb and told a completely different story saying that the hosts declined a request to refund and got a free accomodation elsewhere including purchased her lunch. I firmly believe that this was all a ploy to get free Airbnb accomodation at the expense of my leasors on my property.  

As proof, I am posting here the public slander she posted as well as the video evidence completely contradicting herself.
