We got heating oil from this company last Thursday. We were told the price would be $2.09 per gallon and they charged us $2.14. We noticed this after the delivery so we called and they said they would credit us back for the next delivery.

The day after we got the oil it gelled up and our furnace stopped working. We have never had this problem before so I called them to let them know and to also tell them I want a check for the overpayment. The guy I spoke to, Ralph, (who claims to be the owner) got on the phone and treated me as if I was stupid.

He tried telling me that since it's been really cold out, that everyone with outdoor oil tanks were having the same problem. I informed him that it froze during the day when the temps were in the upper 20's to low 30's, not over night when it was in the single digits. I also told him that we never had this problem with the other oil company we used in the past.

He got all nasty saying that he's been in the business for something like 60 years and that if I don't want to be a customer anymore that this is a stupid reason but I'm free to make that decision. (Thank you for telling me I have free will by the way)

So I told him that not only will we not use them, but we are telling others not to. I also said something to him about me being the customer and he has no right to get nasty with me. To which he said he wasn't being nasty. I said something like well you should hear yourself right now. To which he replies "well eat s**t and die. How's that?" Then hung up.

My husband called him back and said he had no right to talk to a customer that way, especially a woman. The guy Ralph's excuse was that I was nasty to him when I called. I was not nasty, but even if I was, that's still no way to talk to a customer.

I am telling everyone I know who lives in the area to not use this company. It's worth paying more and getting good service.

I did a reverse look up of the phone number on (((link redacted))) and got the 120 Landing Rd address. I was looking at my receipt last night and noticed that on it it says the address is 131 Landing Rd. I'm not sure why they have two different addresses but it seems a little fishy to me.
