Smashwords self publishing Owner Mark Coker I tried publishing my books. They said it did not meet the standards so i contacted only to get insults, belittled, and accused of seeing or hearing stuff not there.

I contacted them 3 months ago and have been trying to get my book what they call perfect. The accused me of a competitor's link being in the book and got insulting, belittling and aggressive towards me when I told him that us social media (YouTube and Facebook) not your competitors. I told him if he is seeing it then mark where.

Over the 3 months my book still is not perfect and they continue to insult, tell me what I see is not there, what I read on the emails was not there, tell me there are things in my footers but if you look, I don't even have footers. They have not listen so I have been going in circles asking the same thing dozens of times to never be addressed.

Today I got in touch with the owner who said they were doing what they are supposed to. There are no real reviews as I can look on the web to see only a couple ratings and they are all 5 star. When you search reviews Google reviews, Angie's list or any others do not come up because they have fake ones not on places to get honest reviews. This disrespecting and unethical behavior explains it all.

The owner accused me of being hostile which is only natural when you are being insulted, belittled, and accused of insanity. He said his employees who treated me this way " do a better job than me in dealing with customers." This is am exact quote from the email he sent excusing all the mistreatment. They need to be shut down! No company should be allowed to treat people this way.
