Supercell Apple Apple promotes children's applications on it's devices where "gems" and other icons appear to be free; these essentials of the game cost money and I have several friends whose charges are in the $1000's of dollars, including my 9 year old. He had no idea! I looked at the game and I couldn't tell either. Internet
Many of the games Apple sponsors on its devices are "free." However, when you play them, you can add "gems" or other objects to enhance the game. There is little if no indication these gems cost money. I have several friends, including myself, whose children have unknowingly charged over a thousand dollars playing these seemingly harmless "free" games.
Apple needs to stop sponsoring these games on their applications. I'm thinking of all the poor people out there whose mothers are working while there kids wrack up thousands of dollars of game charges. I was home and caught my child in one day.
This is outrageous.
