I signed up for Swipebids.com from a promotional ad/review on the website: http://techtrends.consumeradvocateweekly.net/. The ad said that if I used coupon code:SB25WAL to signup, I would recieve 1000 Bids PLUS A $25 Gift Card For Walmart.

The second page of the signup process indicates 1-Year membership includes 300 Bonus minutes, monthly giveways, etc. However, this is misleading because based on $0.50 per bid, Swipebids.com charged $150 to my credit card upon signup. I was very unhappy once I realized this and requested a refund via chat.

Jessica, the representative referred me to a refund page but also acknowledged that I would not qualify for a refund since I had won bids. To qualify for a refund after 30 days of signup you must: actively participate in bidding, use ALL credited bids and "do not win an auction with 30 days of original signup.

Jessica (a generic chat name, was vague most of the time).

you: I'm simply asking either to be refunded the "membership fee" of $150.00 (I would prefer that over a $300 value). I do appreciate the offer but I do not agree to paying $150 for 300 "bonus bids". I understand your "disclosures were approved by attorneys" however I would be willing to dispute this with the Better Business Bureau if necessary because it is misleading.
