I had been trying to obtain a loan, but with bad credit hard to do, when they contacted me and told me they could do this I was leary, but had a contract, signed. I did as they explained and sent them the $1000.00 as collateral, but then they said I needed more because my score had dropped, I wasnt having it at that point, so he said he would give me a refund. He told me all refunds went out on the 1st or 15 so since it was past the first it would go out the 16th. It is now the 26th and still no check. There greeting on the phone when you call does not say TriStar Financial anymore. I do not want these people to get away with this type of crime. What can I do?

You fell for the "Pay for cash" scam, the idea is you pay, then they need "Insurance" so you Pay more, Then they say "Not enough " and you Pay more.

Get it? There never was any Cash.
